TYPING AS FAST AS SHE CAN
Cookie has been writing plays, scripts and novels for the past 20 years. Born in Vancouver, she has worked and studied in Sydney, Paris, London, New York and San Francisco, before returning to Vancouver where she now lives.
While in San Francisco, she studied playwriting under Pulitzer-prize nominated Amy Freed. Cookie’s first play, Jung Love was selected and produced for the San Francisco Emerging Playwright’s Festival. In 2017 she directed her play High School Diplomacy. She has been published in the New York Times and Traveler’s Tales. Cookie is the co-writer and Associate Producer of The Timekeeper, which has played at more than a dozen film festivals around the world, and the co-writer of The Christmas Calendar, a movie of the week that received 8 Leo nominations, including best screenwriting.
She is typing as fast as she can to finish her next novel.
